CWLE Cattle Sale 13.05.2024
​With heavy falls of rain in the area over the weekend, numbers decreased. Quality was mixed and not all buyers were present. Trade cattle were cheaper, feeder cattle were dearer, grown steers and heifers were firm. Cows were slightly dearer.
CWLE Sheep Sale 14.05.2024
Lamb numbers were very similar to last sale with agents yarding 19950 total. Quality was good with good runs of heavy and trade lambs on offer.
CWLE Pig Sale 17.05.2024
A small yarding of boars and sows saw prices improve 10c to 20c for sows. Boars were firm, bacon improved by $10 to $20 per head, pork improved as well by $10 to $20 mainly on the heavier pigs and suckers were firm on the better quality pigs.
