A much larger yarding was penned today, driven mainly by increased numbers of sows and suckers. The sow market remained firm, with prices ranging from 70c to $1.36/kg, while boars sold consistently at 20c. Bacon numbers were reduced, and prices fell $10–$15 on last sale. Pork numbers were also smaller, though prices held firm compared with the previous market. A significantly larger yarding of predominantly light suckers saw prices lift $10–$15 per head.

Sucker numbers declined, and quality was also back, resulting in prices dropping $20 to $30 per head.

A similar number of sows and boars today across a plainer quality yarding saw prices for sows slip 30 - 40c/kg and boars drop 30-40c/kg. Bacon was $10 - $20 dearer on a reduced yarding. Pork numbers improved and prices improved $10 - $15. Sucker numbers remained the same, making up the majority of the yarding, with prices firm from last sale.

A much smaller offering of pork saw prices drop $20-$30 per head. Suckers again made up the majority of the market with one buyer absent, saw prices again slip $10-$15 per head.

Pork numbers also smaller with prices improving on the better quality pigs by $40 - $50 per head. The majority of the market was made up of suckers with prices firm on last fortnight.
